OUR BREEDING PROGRAM

In the United States, there are two distinct "lines" of Labrador Retrievers: field lines and show lines.  Labradors from field lines have been bred with an emphasis on field and hunting ability, and the show line Labradors have been bred with an emphasis on conformation and temperament. Intelligence, sound structure and pleasant temperament are qualities indicative of a strong breed line no matter for what purpose the dog is used.

We practice responsible breeding with a program that ensures the health of current and future generations of Labradors. We have health certifications on all our dogs and require the same for any dogs that are used for breeding. We accept certifications from the Orthopedic Foundations for Animals (OFA) and the Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF) as well as other recognized organizations.
